UNY KKN Students Conduct Pranatacara Training in Gunungkidul to Preserve Javanese Culture

Students from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) participating in the Community Service Program (KKN) organized a pranatacara (traditional Javanese master of ceremony) training session in Padukuhan Plumbungan, Putat Village, Patuk District, Gunungkidul Regency.

The program aimed to enhance the community’s ability to host events using proper Javanese language and etiquette, while also contributing to the preservation of local cultural traditions.

Scholarship Recipients Lead Mangrove Conservation Project in Baros, Bantul

A group of students receiving the Bintang Mandiri Scholarship initiated a social project focused on mangrove conservation titled “Green Coast Baros” in the Baros Mangrove Forest area, located in Tirtohargo, Kretek, Bantul, Special Region of Yogyakarta.

The initiative was carried out by awardees of the 5th cohort of the Bintang Mandiri Scholarship from Bank Mandiri, as part of their contribution to preserving coastal ecosystems while also empowering local communities.

UNY, Purworejo Government, and Indonesian Air Force Strengthen Southern Coastal Development Collaboration

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), the Purworejo Regency Government, and the Indonesian Air Force have strengthened their collaboration to develop the southern coastal area of Purworejo through a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) held at the UNY Rectorate on Thursday (April 2, 2026).

UNY Admits 1,834 New Students Through the SNBP Pathway

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) has admitted 1,834 new students through the National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP) pathway.
