VIRCON LEARNING SYSTEM TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR STUDENTS TO LEARN

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the government encouraged the implementation of online learning at schools and higher education. Online learning is quite effective in preventing the spread of Covid-19, but this distance learning model is less effective and poorly affects the quality of education.

REDUCING GADGETS ADDICTION THROUGH TRADITIONAL GAMES

The Covid-19 pandemic has exposed children to gadgets such as computers, laptops, and cellphones more intensely due to distance learning. Gadgets for learning are also followed by the increasing use of gadgets for social media and online games that trigger gadget addiction. To reduce this problem, UNY students consisting of Dwi Agnes Setianingrum, Dian Anggraini and Akhip Nugroho (science education), Furi Ningsih Sri Sukowati (physics education), and Aerafatma Ahyaun Nisa (elementary school teacher education) initiated the development of a traditional game.

KSI MIST UNY DEVELOPS CULTURAL TOURISM POTENTIAL IN TAMBAKROMO GUNUNGKIDUL

he UNY MIPA Scientific Study Group (KSI MIST) strengthens the development of village empowerment in Tambakromo Gunungkidul. Through the Village Empowerment Development Program (P3D) scheme, UNY students have carried out a series of programs that will take place from August to November 2021.

Medal for Faculty of Sport Sciences, UNY

The PON PAPUA XX event is over, but the reverberation is still palpable, total of 14 students from 31 students of Faculty of Sport Sciences, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (FIK UNY) who participated in the XX Papua PON event managed to get a medal. There is no gold yet, but they are all golden children of FIK UNY. Their struggle deserves kudos, their hard work is also commendable.
