Students of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) participating in the Pembelajaran Luar Kampus (PLK) program carried out a community service initiative at the Bina Insan Mandiri Orphanage in Sedayu, Bantul. This activity represents the implementation of practice-based learning while also serving as an effort to empower the community across various groups, ranging from children to micro-entrepreneurs.

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) has once again emphasized its commitment as an inclusive campus in the implementation of the 2026 Computer-Based Written Test for the National Selection Based on Test (UTBK-SNBT). On the exam day, prospective students from the deaf and physically disabled communities were able to take the test with accessible, disability-friendly facilities, ensuring equality and minimal barriers.

Students from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) participating in the Community Service Program (KKN) organized a pranatacara (traditional Javanese master of ceremony) training session in Padukuhan Plumbungan, Putat Village, Patuk District, Gunungkidul Regency.

A group of students receiving the Bintang Mandiri Scholarship initiated a social project focused on mangrove conservation titled “Green Coast Baros” in the Baros Mangrove Forest area, located in Tirtohargo, Kretek, Bantul, Special Region of Yogyakarta.

The initiative was carried out by awardees of the 5th cohort of the Bintang Mandiri Scholarship from Bank Mandiri, as part of their contribution to preserving coastal ecosystems while also empowering local communities.
