For this reason, UNY has developed a healthy snack, namely UNYBar. "Available in milk, chocolate, banana, strawberry, vanilla, and grape flavors," said Prof. Siswantoyo. This product is one of the works of the Center of excellence for science and technology and innovation.

Gunungkidul has the potential of abundant food sources. One of them is cassava which grows well in Tepus, Gunungkidul. Many  Tepus residents process cassava into patilo. But, unfortunately, the production and marketing activities are still on a traditional scale, so they only reach a limited market.

Ananda Canteen, one of the places that provide healthy food at the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (FIK UNY), has contributed to students, lecturers, and staff.
