In an effort to strengthen governance and ensure the quality of student internship programs in Japan, a total of 12 higher education institutions and two sending organizations participated in a Workshop on the Development of Joint Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Guidelines for Internship Programs in Japan. The workshop was held on Monday, 1 December 2025, at UNY Hotel, with participants from Japan joining online.

Students of the D4 Marketing Management Study Program, Faculty of Vocational Studies, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), through the Sustainable Development Education course, organized a Beach Clean-Up Action at Goa Cemara Beach, Bantul. Ninety students from the German Language Education program (Pendidikan Bahasa Jerman) at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) conducted their Final Semester Exam (UAS) in an unconventional, outdoor format at the iconic Prambanan Temple complex on 22 November 2025.
