Ananda Canteen, one of the places that provide healthy food at the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (FIK UNY), has contributed to students, lecturers, and staff. As a form of business managed by Dharma Wanita FIK UNY, the canteen wants to serve various healthy foods, ranging from vegetables, side dishes, and drinks.

During this pandemic, many people have experienced layoffs, bankruptcy, and reduced income, while the necessities of life have not decreased. The family is the smallest sphere that has the most impact on the economic crisis caused by the pandemic. Not infrequently there is a rift in the household due to economic problems, and children are victims.

KKN is an effective way to give the best academic service to educational and non educational students in this Covid-19 era. UNY campus waste in the form of organic, non-organic, and toxic, and hazardous waste. UNY processes organic waste in the form of leaves, twigs, and food waste to make compost. At the same time, UNY makes crafts and eco-bricks from inorganic waste. Other inorganic waste will go into landfills. Types of B3 UNY waste are disposable mask waste, oil waste from workshops, and toxic waste from chemical laboratories.

UNY supports the Instruction on the Single-Use Plastic Packaging and Plastic Bags Prohibition in the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education Number 1 /M/INS/2019. UNY support, among others, through the procurement of drinking water tumblers for UNY lecturers and educators. In addition, UNY provides dispensers indoors and outdoors so that UNY residents can access drinking water without causing disposable bottle waste.

Remembering the importance of the continuity of academic activities in UNY campus, a conducive atmosphere is needed which reflects an orderly, ethical, and academic culture on campus life. Positive cases of the Coronavirus or Covid-19 in Indonesia lately are increasing day by day. As a result, hospitals, health facilities, shelters for self-isolation are getting fuller, so efforts are needed to add more. Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) cares about this. One of the actual efforts is to provide Rusunawa (Student Flats) UNY as an independent isolation shelter located in Wedomartani.

Plastic is a lightweight and flexible material. This is the reason why makes many people use plastic materials in various activities. But, unfortunately, plastic waste is one of the significant threats to the life of living things. This shows that people still often ignore sanitation from the sea.
