Automotive is mainly perceived as a men's world. But that does not deter Priti from studying in the Automotive Engineering Education program at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY). "I like to see my father working in the workshop. The first experience that I remember was when I was in elementary school. I could repair bicycle chains, both my own and my friends.

As in the previous year, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta(UNY) hosted the Computer-Based Admission Examination for National Test-Based Selection in 2023.  This exam is a national selection pathway for prospective students who are interested in continuing their education at state universities in Indonesia.

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) collaborated with the Asmat Regency Government and Musamus University to organize an advanced human resources education program for 199 students, consisting of 148 undergraduate students and 51 magister students. From Saturday to Monday (11-13/3), offline lectures and acceleration assistance for final assignments were held.

Since 1964, UNY has facilitated prospective students with disabilities during admission (SIPENMARU). UNY has graduated many students with disabilities in undergraduate and postgraduate studies and has been accepted as a civil servant. UNY has a special education department that studies special education.

FBSB held a Socialization on Prevention of Sexual Violence which was held on Wednesday, 1 February 2023 at 11.00 WIB until it was finished at the FBSB UNY Performance Hall Building, with speakers: AKP. Lidwina Esti Wulandari, S.H., M.H. (Heads of Unit 1 Sub Directorate 4 Ditreskrimum Polda DIY), and Kalis Mardi Asih (Gender Facilitator in Gusdurian Network).

Factors that cause an inclusive classroom environment include the diversity of intellectual and social levels of students who are not accommodated. Therefore lecturers provide space for a variety of student background abilities. Lecturers need to integrate previous student experiences in learning and accommodate the diversity of student abilities.

Kunta Wijaya started holding the gunungan (Mountain shaped puppet) as a sign of the start of the wayang ( shadow puppet) performance entitled "Kangsa Lena".

On Wednesday, March 2, 2022, there were 892 participants from UNY Students, Lecturers, and Educational staff who participated in a Webinar with the theme of Prevention and Combating Sexual Violence in the Campus Environment online and online. This event is held as a form of preventive action related to acts that enter the realm of violence and sexual harassment.
