Food processing innovation: biscuit made of tempe

To strengthen food security, UNY encourages various innovative efforts in processing various alternative food ingredients. Five UNY students consisting of Siti Nursipa Wulida (Culinary Education); Nur Evirda Khosyiati (Culinary Education); Rifki Refiyandi (Elementary School Teacher Education); Putri A. Panggabean (Accounting); and Syifaun Nuha A (Management) successfully developed tempe-based biscuits for toddlers named Bistbox.
 

Celebrating UNY Anniversary with 5.9K Running Competition

A total of 135 participants consisting of lecturers and education staff of UNY participated in the 5.9K run in order to enliven UNY's 59th Anniversary. This race exceeded the target of the committee which targeted 100 participants. The race was held in the rectorate yard near the Kembara statue recently.

Computer-Based Admission Examination for National Selection Based on Test Year 2023 at UNY Runs Smoothly

CROWD DETECTION USING CCTV MADE BY UNY STUDENTS

The trend of the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia has decreased. Nevertheless, the government strives to suppress this pandemic through various policies. Digitally, through the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo), the government has used data on the movement of Mobile Subscriber Integrated Services Digital Network Number/MSISDN mobile phones from the Base Transceiver Station (BTS) to detect crowds of residents. Through this data, Kominfo can provide warnings via short messages in SMS blasts when there is a crowd of residents.

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is commonly found in most tropical and subtropical regions. DHF is caused by the dengue virus, which enters the human bloodstream through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. Aedes aegypti's life cycle starts from the egg, larva, pupa, and adult mosquito stages. The egg, larva, and pupa stages of mosquitoes are in the water, while as adults, mosquitoes actively fly to find food from human blood, animal blood, or plant extracts.
