Plastic waste and efforts to respond to climate change

UNY students are an essential part of the climate change campaign. One of the attempts is the dissemination of the dangers of climate change. UNY students who are members of the Research UKM have released two articles, namely about the danger of plastic waste and the latest updates regarding Indonesia's environmental conditions in the context of world environment day.

Learn the characteristics of the seasonal forest ecosystem

UNY provides opportunities for students to learn about the environment. One of those who got this opportunity was a student from the Department of Biology Education, UNY.

In the observation activities carried out in the West Bali National Park (TNBB), for example, students learned about the diversity of seasonal forest vegetation. The method used is Quadrat Sampling Techniques. The quadrant method is a method that does not use a plotless sample. This method is very good for estimating communities in the form of trees and poles, for example forest vegetation.
