ONLINE WORKSHOP LEARNING MODELS FOR VOCATIONAL TEACHERS (MACHINE, AUTOMOTIVE)

Since March 2020, the terms Work From Home (WFH) and Study From Home (SFH) seem to be the main topics in all lines of communication in Indonesia. Several countries with a higher rate of coronavirus spread cases had already implemented Work From Home (WFH) in the activities of their citizens (including activities in the field of education). Therefore, the Educational Innovation and Learning Development Center of the Institute for Quality Assurance and Educational Development (LPMPP) Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) deems it necessary to conduct an online workshop on Teacher Productivity in the Covid-19 Pandemic Period Towards a New Normal. The online workshop on Learning Models for Teachers consists of 12 series.

In this inaugural workshop series, Wednesday (17/6) discusses the learning model of Vocational teachers (Machinery, Automotive). The spokespersons were in the LPMPP UNY Building, while 197 vocational teachers participated via zoom meeting. As the moderator, Dr. Sunaryo Sunarto said that the workshop material delivery system has several learning resources. In addition, registered workshop participants could attend the presentations and discuss (real-time) via teleconference. They could also follow the Glacier (Global Access Independence Learning) tutorial on learning models https://glacier.uny.ac.id.

In his office, the Rector, Prof. Dr. Sutrisna Wibawa, delivered material on education during the pandemic. During this Covid-19 Pandemic, Sutrisna continued changing habits and life in various aspects. For example, several companies eliminated activities in offices, schools, and universities carrying out learning activities at home by their parents. This situation requires us to use digital media. Everything flows and uses digital media to carry out all its activities. Therefore, employees, teachers, lecturers, students, and students must use digital media in teaching and learning activities. This situation indirectly invites us to get used to carrying out the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0. and encourage the world community. In particular, the Indonesian people should be ready to compete with digital technology in the 4.0 era and society 5.0. (Sud,ts-Shafia, Alina)
