UNY Facilitates the Computer-Based Writing Test Participants With Special Needs

Computer-Based Writing Test for Special Needs

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) implements the (UTBK) Computer-Based Writing Test with strict Covid-19 health protocol discipline. They include measuring temperature, washing hands, wearing masks, gloves, and a face shield (if needed)). Another protocol is that companions are not allowed to be in the test area.

On the second day of UTBK, 654 participants (95.5%) attended session 5, while 661 participants (96.50%) attended session 7. One of the participants who have a hearing impairment took part in the UTBK selection today. "We treat it the same as other participants, to facilitate communication by using writing," said Sudarwanto, M.Eng. as supervisor of the room. In addition, two physically disabled people were very excited to participate in the UTBK in the LIMUNY room. They were provided with a wheelchair and served until they went to the exam place that the committee had determined.

In general, the implementation of the UTBK on the second day went in an orderly and safe manner and continued to prioritize the Covid-19 protocol. (Sud, ts-Arfian, Alina)
