Introduction
The Center for Regional and Environmental Studies (Pusdi KLH) has a long history. This Pusdi started from the Center for Cultural, Regional and Environmental Research (Puslit BKLH), which since 2015 has been divided into two Study Centers, namely (1) Center for Cultural Studies and (2) Center for Regional and Environmental Studies. The BKLH Research Center itself was formerly an amalgamation of the Cultural Center, Regional Center, and Environmental Center. Therefore, we can say that Pusdi KLH has gone through a long process of going through ups and downs, which can forge it into becoming more resilient and mature. Pusdi KLH is one of the study centers under the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) UNY,
In realizing its vision and mission, the KLH Pusdi, which is a combination of two Pusdi, namely the Regional Center and the Environmental Center, has long collaborated with the Research and Development of the DIY Province, the Ministry of Environment, the Environmental Agency (BLH) of the DIY Province as well as the existing City and Regency BLH. in DIY Province. Activities that have been carried out include Joint research with the Research and Development of DIY Province, Preparation of Environmental Impact Analysis (AMDAL) and Environmental Evaluation Documents (DELH), Adipura Assessment, and the National Adiwiyata Evaluator Team. In addition, many KLH Pusdi is also actively involved in environmental consultations (as environmental consultants) in several departments and private institutions under the name of Pusdi KLH LPPM UNY.
