Related to employment practice, UNY referred to Indonesian Constitution Number 8 of 1974 for employees paid by the state. This regulation is the primary employment regulation. On employment practice living wage, this point has been accommodated in chapter 7. For the day-off rights, the law is also stated clearly in chapter 8.  For specific human resource management at UNY, the regulation has been set to ensure that everyone has the same rights and adequately completes the duty accordingly. UNY also has clear arrangement on employment contracts, and refer the regulation on Teachers and Lecturers.
