Recognizing that a healthy and safe work environment is essential for productivity and well-being, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) has taken a significant step by establishing an Occupational Health and Safety (K3) Team. Officially formed under Rector’s Decree No. 6.2/UN34/I/2025, this team is entrusted with planning, executing, and evaluating all safety and health-related initiatives at UNY.

More than a formality, the creation of the K3 Team reflects UNY’s growing awareness of the importance of workplace well-being in supporting academic excellence and staff satisfaction. The team will play a proactive role in identifying potential risks, promoting safety education, and ensuring that every corner of the campus is a safe space to work and grow.
