Sutrisna said that UNY does not expand access but improves quality. The campus does not increase the number of students but enhances the quality of building a laboratory. Over the past few years, the number of journals has continued to increase. By the end of 2017, there were at least 700 journals, of which one was nationally accredited and one was international. The new buildings include the Civil and Structural Engineering Laboratory, Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering. There is also a performance building, a Language Training Center, an Integrated Economics and Business Laboratory. "There are Mathematics and Natural Sciences Laboratory, Integrated Social Sciences Laboratory, Early Childhood Education Laboratory and Elementary School, Public Lecture Building, Health, and Sports Center, Integrated Sports Laboratory.
