Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) continues to demonstrate its active commitment to sustainability by promoting awareness and education on environmentally responsible practices. One of its major initiatives in 2024 is hosting the UI GreenMetric International Online Course, a global program aimed at advancing sustainable development in higher education institutions. This program is officially supported by Rector’s Decree No. 9.2/UN34/IX/2024.

 

The dedicated hosting team is responsible for planning, preparing, implementing, and evaluating the course to ensure its impact is comprehensive and far-reaching. Through this initiative, UNY not only contributes to the global discourse on sustainability but also strengthens its role as a leader in green campus innovation and environmental education.
