Learning Literacy and Numeracy through cooking

Campus Teaching activities are part of the Merdeka Campus program, which provides learning opportunities and self-development outside the classroom. This activity involves university students becoming teachers, and selected students will be placed in elementary schools in need. One of the UNY students who could participate was Aisyatunnisai Tawakal.

Avoiding the Boredom of Learning History With Maze Of History

So far, studying history seems boring and feels less useful for students. History learning is still conventional and rarely associated with contemporary problems. History subjects are the subjects that students are least interested in, especially for high school students or the equivalent.

Prevention and Control of Sexual Violence in Campus Environment

On Wednesday, March 2, 2022, there were 892 participants from UNY Students, Lecturers, and Educational staff who participated in a Webinar with the theme of Prevention and Combating Sexual Violence in the Campus Environment online and online. This event is held as a form of preventive action related to acts that enter the realm of violence and sexual harassment.

Industrial Practice Cooperation between UNY and RS PKU Muhammadiyah Jatinom

A total of 4 (four) UNY students carried out Industrial Practices and assisted in supervision during the construction of the inpatient installation building at PKU Muhammadiyah Jatinom Hospital. This collaboration is a form of UNY's support for the construction of health facilities that meet the technical standards of building quality in hospitals. For UNY students, this activity will provide practical experience and specialized experience in civil engineering.
 

Future Coach from UNY for Deaf Athlete

Disability did not stop Wahyu Tri Wibowo's desire to complete a master's degree at the UNY Sports Coaching Education Study Program. Wahyu's willingness to graduate with his Masters in Sports Coaching Education at FIK UNY cannot be separated from his experience when he was a Deaflympics athlete in badminton.

Becoming a Mentally Healthy and Productive Student

At the beginning of this semester, UNY students from the Sociology Education Study Program had the opportunity to receive reinforcement through a webinar with the theme "Becoming a Mentally Healthy and Productive Student, How to Deal with free time, laziness and Toxic Friends?" which held online on January 31, 2022, via zoom.

UNY Students Internship Program in Japan

Students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering Education and Automotive Engineering Education Faculty of Engineering Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) were selected for the Japanese automotive component company Internship program at  Yutaka Seisakusho Co., on 10/02/2022. Ten students passed the test from the selection process, and two became reserves.

BRIDGING FUTURE PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN UNY AND MERANTI ISLANDS REGENCY GOVERNMENT

The Meranti Islands Regency Government of Riau Province signed an MoU with Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. The agreement was officially signed by the Regent of Meranti Islands Regency H. Muhammad Adil S.H. and the RRector of UNY Prof. Sumaryanto on February 10, 2022.
