The 12th Rector of UNY Cup Strengthens Camaraderie Among Tennis Enthusiasts in Kulon Progo
The 12th Rector of UNY Cup Tennis Tournament once again became a platform for strengthening camaraderie among tennis enthusiasts, particularly in Kulon Progo Regency. The event was held in a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere, bringing together participants from various backgrounds and regions in the spirit of sportsmanship and togetherness. The tournament served not only as a competitive sports event but also as a means of fostering relationships among tennis communities.
The tournament was organized by Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta as part of its commitment to promoting sports development and strengthening engagement with the wider community. Hosted in Kulon Progo, the event drew significant enthusiasm from both athletes and spectators who came to support the participants.
The Rector of UNY, Prof. Sumaryanto, expressed appreciation for the successful organization of the event and emphasized that sports activities such as this are important not only for maintaining physical fitness but also for strengthening friendship and social cohesion.
“Through this tournament, we hope to strengthen friendship and build healthy sportsmanship among tennis enthusiasts,” he stated.
