UNY Reinforces Environmental Commitment Through Dedicated Campus Monitoring Teams

In its continued effort to promote responsible environmental management, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) has appointed specialized teams to prepare Environmental Management and Monitoring Implementation Reports (AMDAL) for each of its campuses. These assignments are mandated through Rector’s Decrees: Karangmalang Campus (No. 289.2/UN34/I/2023), Wates Campus (No. 290.2/UN34/I/2023), and Gunungkidul Campus (No. 288.2/UN34/I/2023). This initiative underscores UNY’s proactive stance in ensuring sustainable campus operations across its locations. In 2023, the environmental documentation efforts were coordinated by Dr. Tien Aminatun, S.Si., M.Si., who chaired the teams responsible for compiling AMDAL reports for all three campuses. These dedicated teams play a vital role in monitoring ecological impact, complying with environmental regulations, and advancing sustainability initiatives at UNY.
