UNY lecturers become members of associations or organizations according to their fields. For example, lecturers from the Faculty of Languages and Arts UNY who teach subjects in local culture have the right to become members of the Indonesian Regional Cultural Lecturer Association (IKADBUDI).

Internship opportunities in Japan for UNY students

Representatives of two Japanese companies, Mr. Asano Kimitaka (President Director of Sanyo Tec CO.,LTD) and, Mr. Yoshio Asama (Deputy Director of Kowatech CO.LTD), visited the Faculty of Engineering UNY. They meet with UNY faculty leaders and greet all prospective interns at their company (02/08/2019). Sanyo Tec Co LTD is engaged in the heavy equipment industry, while Kowatech CO.LTD manufactures or assembles complete passenger cars.
