Internship opportunities in Japan for UNY students

Representatives of two Japanese companies,  Mr. Asano Kimitaka (President Director of Sanyo Tec CO.,LTD) and, Mr. Yoshio Asama (Deputy Director of Kowatech CO.LTD), visited the Faculty of Engineering UNY. They meet with UNY faculty leaders and greet all prospective interns at their company (02/08/2019). Sanyo Tec Co LTD is engaged in the heavy equipment industry, while Kowatech CO.LTD manufactures or assembles complete passenger cars.
 
Nine students from the Department of Automotive Engineering Education and Mechanical Engineering Education will participate in this internship program. Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Moh. Khoirudin, Ph.D explained that the time of departure was still waiting for several licensing requirements. " Internship in Japan has become a continuous program for UNY where previously we had also sent students to Domremy Co., Ltd and Sagami Co.Ltd," he said.
 
"Our students must work professionally and get a monthly salary according to company standards," he said
 
"I believe that many benefits can be obtained from the culture and lifestyle while living in Japan. Trainees will learn more about discipline, hard work ethic, problem-solving mindset, innovation, creativity so that it will be a precious experience to form international quality students," he continued.
 
Doing an internship program abroad, of course, not only enrich UNY students' experience but also adds invaluable knowledge and  networking ,” he explained. (hryo, Tr.Lak)
