The population explosion of Hyacinths (Eichhornia crassipes) in irrigation canals has caused environmental problems, especially in Bugel Village, Panjatan Subdistrict, Kulonprogo Regency. Institute of Research and Community Services, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (LPPM UNY) provides solutions to these problems through integrated community service activities. The activity conducted on 22-23 May 2021 is supported by four teams. Dr. Tien Aminatun's team completed eco print training to become souvenirs typical of Bugel tourist village. Dr. Martono's team innovates to make Jaran Kepang from woven hyacinth leaves (A Jatilan gejog lesung dance team uses Jaran Kepang). Dr. Kuswarsantyo's team teaches dance movements accompanied by tembang (traditional Javanese song) created by Dr. Sutiyono. His verse reflects Bugel's natural and cultural resources. Dr. Martono's team teaches the Jaran Kepang small souvenirs' design and eco prints packaging boxes. All creations of Pusbudlingmit's integrated devotion team will be submitted copyrighted by LPPM UNY. The Lies Endarwati M.Si team provides marketing innovation training and product photo training to support online marketing. UNY will exhibit the results of training activities in Bugel Village on June 6, 2021. The direction of UNY and the Kulonprogo Regency Regional Government will attend the exhibition. The four teams support each other to realize Bugel as a culture-based tourist village, a Kulonprogo District Cultural Office program. At the same time, Pusbudlingmit LPPM UNY seeks to integrate culture, environment, and mitigation in this holy activity. (Agus, ts-Waryati, Alina)
