Final Day of UTBK at UNY Runs Smoothly, Orderly Implementation Without Cheating

The implementation of the final day of the Computer-Based Written Test (UTBK) at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta ran smoothly, orderly, and in a conducive atmosphere. The exam, held on Monday (April 27, 2026) for sessions 13 and 14, marked the conclusion of the UTBK series at the university, with evaluation results indicating that the overall implementation proceeded optimally without significant obstacles.

Based on monitoring and evaluation (monev) reports, the UTBK on the final day was attended by 1,837 participants, with an attendance rate reaching 98 percent. The exam was conducted across various campus locations, including faculties and service centers such as LIMUNY and the Digital Library, all of which were deemed technically and infrastructurally well-prepared.

UTBK Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator at UNY, Prof. Lia Yuliana, emphasized that the implementation on the final day went very well. “The UTBK at UNY for sessions 13 and 14 was conducted smoothly, orderly, and no cheating by participants was found. All processes ran according to the established procedures,” she stated.

She explained that facility readiness was one of the key factors supporting the smooth execution of this year’s UTBK. Adequate computer equipment, stable internet networks, and the presence of technicians at each location ensured that the computer-based testing process ran without significant disruptions. In addition, the monitoring system implemented was considered effective in maintaining the quality and integrity of the exam.

From the participants’ perspective, no cases of incorrect exam locations were found, indicating that the information dissemination and directions provided by the committee were effective. All participants also strictly followed inspection procedures, including the use of metal detectors and the policy of clearing desks from personal documents to prevent potential cheating.

Overall, the successful implementation of the final day further strengthens UNY’s position as a reliable UTBK test center, ensuring a secure, fair, and high-quality examination process.
