The Lecturers of PBSI Department FBS UNY Held PPM Short Story Writing Training for COVID-19 Mitigation for SMA/SMK Teacher
Lecturers of the Department of Indonesian Language and Literature Education FBS UNY consisted of Prof. Dr. Suminto A. Sayuti, Dr. Wiyatmi, M. Hum. Dr. Else Liliani, M.Hum., Kusmarwanti, S.Pd., MA, Dwi Budiyanto, M.Hum., and M. Rosyid Ridho, M.Pd., held Community Service activities in the form of Short Story Writing Training with Covid-19 Mitigation Insights for SMA and SMK teachers. The training lasts for two days, from 5 to 6 August, 2020, through Zoom Meeting.
The implementation of short story writing is done by groups, and technical assistance (time, facilities, etc.) is adjusted to the agreement of participants and facilitators.
Mentoring is held in 2 weeks to August 5, 2020. The mechanism of monitoring the participants is divided into 4 (four) groups, each consisted of 10 participants and accompanied by 1 (one) implementer.
The final target of mentoring is that each participant is expected to write short stories that are ready to be published. Short stories are written in Times New Roman 12, spaced 1.5 with a length of 3-5 pages. Participants who succeed in making short stories and collecting them will receive a certificate.
This training was attended by 41 representative teachers from SMA and SMK from several regions in Indonesia. (drsa,ts-Shafia,Vannya)
