STUDENTS CREATE BISCUIT FROM COFFEE DREGS

The collaboration team consisting of Ulfainun Choirul Aslami (D4 ADP 2019), Rizki Oktavianto (Accounting Education 2018), and Intan Diah Kusuma (Culinary Engineering Education 2019) won 3rd place in the Culinary Category at the 2021 National Business Plan Competition organized by UKM Entrepreneurship UNY on Saturday, June 5, 2021.

The collaboration between FE and FT students under the guidance of a Lecturer in the Department of Accounting Education, Yolandaru Septiana, S.Pd., M.Pd, brought innovative ideas in the form of biscuit creations from coffee grounds with the taste of Indonesian cakes.

They raised the idea based on the observation that lots of coffee grounds waste in various coffee shops which is currently rarely used even though it is rich in nutrients.(ts-Abror)
