Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) has a new facility in a smart water station where the academic community can refill drinking water from bottles carried through this device. PT Yipu Teknologi Alami supplies this smart water station is engaged in educational technology. This smart water station started from environmental issues and the lack of educational facilities on the campus. So the green campus movement was initiated, which is beneficial for character education by loving nature, applying learning technology, learning activities so smoothly. Health and concentration are maintained because students bring drinking bottles from home and refill on campus. The Rector of UNY, Sutrisna Wibawa, was happy with the existence of an intelligent water station at UNY and was pleased to try drinking directly from the device. "Hopefully, this smart water station can minimize the thirst of the UNY academic community," he joked. The Rector hopes that smart water stations will also exist in every faculty at UNY.

A smart water station is one of the Green Campus Initiative programs aimed to reduce plastic bottle waste, love the surrounding environment from simple things. Smart Water Station is an intelligent drinking water machine with access technology, has filtration and various other supporting sensors. The Faculty of Economics (FE) Dean, Sugiharsono, said that FE collaborated with PT Yipu Teknologi Alami to provide a Smart Water Station for students.
