Opening of Jasco, Short Course in the Javanese Language in Collaboration with the Indonesian Embassy in China and FBS UNY

 Monday (11/09/2020), FBS UNY held an Opening Ceremony for the JASCO (Javanese Short Course) activity which was held online with the course participants and attended by the Indonesian Embassy in China.

The event was held offline at the GKI FBS UNY building, attending the event, there were the Dean of FBS UNY, Dr. Sri Harti Widyastuti, M.Hum and all lecturers of the Java Language Education Study Program who will later work directly as teachers, as well as students who will assist the learning process.

The opening was also attended by the of UNY, Prof. Dr. Margana, M.Hum sa Plt Rektor UNY, who also delivered his remarks, and from the Indonesian Embassy in China attended Mr. Yaya Sutarya, who also gave his speech.

The JASCO program will last until the end of December 2020, where later participants from China will learn the Informal Javanese language and be introduced to Javanese culture. (drsa,ts-Shafia,Vannya)
