ENTREPRENEURSHIP MOTIVATION FOR the Prison Inmates CLASS IIA WIROGUNAN YOGYAKARTA

Warga Binaan Lapas

A community service (PPM) activity was initiated by a team of the Out of School Education Department (PLS), Faculty of Education (FIP) lecturers, and prison inmates Class IIA Wirogunan Yogyakarta. This activity was attended by 25 inmates. Sukamto, who represented the head of the Wirogunan Prison, welcomed the PPM team's community. He emphasized to the inmates to take full advantage of this activity because it is beneficial, especially for the welfare of the inmates' lives after leaving the prison. As the head of the PPM team, Drs Hiryanto, M.Si also supports this statement. His remarks emphasized that the inmates continue to be enthusiastic about managing their lives because the best people always try to be better today.

The speaker in the PPM is Adhik Iwan Sulistiyanto, SH, MM (JEL EDUTAMA Human Resources Motivator Trainer and In House & Outbound Training Trainer). The methods used are direct practice methods that offer opportunities for inmates to participate actively. This was done by Iwan considering that the psychological conditions of the inmates were different from the training participants in general.

The response of the inmates to community service activities is very positive. They feel excited and entertained by the material presented. In addition, they begin to have ideas for entrepreneurship and have provisions on how to start entrepreneurship properly and correctly after leaving prison. This means that the purpose of the PPM activities has been achieved. (Rif/rit, ts-Shafia, Alina)
