Two LPTK tertiary faculties, namely FMIPA Yogyakarta State University (UNY) and FMIPA Semarang State University (UNNES) have collaborated in the field of education. The signing of the cooperation was held on Saturday, 23/10/21 at the indoor tennis court of FIK UNY.

The cooperation agreement was signed by the Dean of FMIPA UNY, Prof. Dr. Ariswan, M.Sc., and the Dean of FMIPA UNNES, Dr. Sugianto, M.Si. witnessed by the Chancellor of UNY, Prof. Dr. Sumaryanto, M.Kes and the Chancellor of UNNES, Prof. Dr. Fathur Rokhman, M. Hum.

After the signing of the cooperation agreement, a friendly match was held between the tennis teams from UNY and UNNES. Meanwhile, the heads of study programs on both sides held discussions on the implementation of cooperation in the Seminar room of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UNY.

In his remarks, the Chancellor of UNNES said, “We are building together a competitive Mathematics and Natural Sciences faculty in an effort to build the Independent Teaching and Learning Campus (MBKM) program. The key to the MBKM program is the study program (Prodi). We hope that the study programs at FMIPA UNNES and FMIPA UNY will implement this collaboration so that they can mutually strengthen each other to strengthen all components in MBKM.

“It will make it easier for us to strengthen and acknowledge each other in the implementation of MBKM. This collaboration is carried out happily so that if you are happy, the implementation will be easier,” he continued.

Meanwhile, the Chancellor of UNY explained that UNNES alumni had made extraordinary contributions to UNY. We accept many lecturers from UNNES alumni. The fastest graduate of S3 at UNS is also a graduate of UNNES and now we trust him to be the Secretary of the Department at FIK, and many more.

FMIPA and FIK are the top 3 faculties that contribute to the achievement of UNY’s Main Performance Indicators. “The prize is for FIK to paint the tennis court only”, which was immediately greeted by applause from the audience. The FMIPA will later add to the cleanliness and tidiness of the garden. All faculties get prizes.
