Still, in the series of PPG activities in Position, today is the second activity, Thursday, August 13, 202,0 held "Academic Orientation of PPG Program In Position Phase II the Year 2020. This activity is still centered at the LPMPP UNY studio as a place to guide virtual academic orientation forums.

Drs. Suyud, M.Pd. as the Coordinator of the PPG Program at UNY, said in this virtual forum, the PPG Lectures in the Phase II Position 2020 will start from August 14, 2020, to November 20, 2020. A Competency Test will be conducted from November 23 to 29, 2020, all of which will be carried out fully online. The purpose of this activity is to equip and provide insight to students about the development of teacher professionalism, the challenges of becoming a professional teacher in the future, introducing curriculum and learning systems, and learning management systems in PPG learning in the 2020 Position. The

Chancellor of UNY, Prof. Dr. Sutrisna Wibawa, M.Pd., in his remarks as well as opening this event, said, “Professional teachers are teachers who are covered by the nation and state to improve the quality of education. Professionalism contains at least three material areas, the first is expertise, the second contains accountability, and the third is a peer.
