Nosi Anggana’s Achievements: A Testament to Consistency in Music Arts

Nosi Anggana, a student in the Music Education Study Program at the Faculty of Languages, Arts, and Culture of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), has earned Third Place in the Outstanding Student Selection (Pilmapres) at the LLDIKTI Region V level. This achievement marks an important milestone that has advanced her to the selection process for the national level competition.
Nosi has been passionate about music since childhood. She further developed this interest through formal education at Yogyakarta Secondary School of Music (SMM Yogyakarta) before continuing her studies at UNY with a focus on music education.
“My dream is to become a music educator, so I have pursued a relevant educational path from the beginning,” said Nosi.
Throughout her university years, Nosi has actively participated in various academic and non-academic activities, including competitions, research projects, and community service programs. She believes that UNY’s academic environment has provided significant support for the development of her potential.
“I am grateful to study at UNY. The lecturers have always guided and motivated me to continue growing,” she said.
Her success in the Pilmapres competition is the result of a long process that began early in her academic journey. According to Nosi, Pilmapres is not merely a one-time competition but rather the culmination of years of academic development, portfolio building, creative thinking, and communication skills.
“The Pilmapres process is not instant. It is a summary of my journey throughout university, including portfolio development, creative ideas, and communication skills,” she explained.
In addition to her Pilmapres achievement, Nosi has accumulated an impressive record of accomplishments at both national and international levels, including:
First Place, SATRANI Literature and Arts Competition 2023, Second Place, ISBI Bandung International Art Competition 2024, First and Second Place, Indonesian Performing Arts Festival (FSPI) 2024, Favorite Outstanding Award, Jakarta Music Foundation Indonesia Open Competition 2025, ilver Prize, EuroAsia Strings Competition 2025, First Place Outstanding Student (Faculty Level), FBSB UNY, in both 2025 and 2026., These accomplishments demonstrate Nosi’s consistency in developing both her musical artistry and academic excellence. Behind these achievements, she acknowledges that her greatest challenge has been balancing academic responsibilities with the many activities she pursues., “I make it a habit to plan my daily activities so that everything can run in balance,” she said.
Looking ahead, Nosi aspires to continue her studies and build a career as a music educator who can make meaningful contributions to society. She also encourages fellow students to seize opportunities and remain consistent in their self-development efforts.
“Take advantage of every opportunity, don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, and stay consistent in the process,” she advised.
The achievements of the young musician, who was born on 13 April 2005, are expected to inspire other students to continue creating, achieving excellence, and bringing honor to Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta at both national and international levels.
