Which UNYu’s never visits the Canteen? All of you must visit the canteen even if it's only for passing through the building, hehehe. This time, we’ll talk about all the canteen in UNY’s faculties. There are seven faculties, is that mean there is also seven canteens? No way, there must be more than that. Let’s discuss!
1. FBS Canteen
The Faculty of Art and Languages (FBS) Canteen is located on the east side of the faculty and on the west side of UNY Mosque, it’s called kantin ungu or Purple Canteen. Kantin Ungu served many kinds of food and beverages for students to fill their stomachs before going to the class.
2. FE Canteen
The Faculty of Economy has a canteen named as Entrepreneurship Education Center. The canteen is located on the east side of the faculty, near their parking area and Pancasila garden. The canteen didn’t only sell food and beverages, but also printing and photocopy services.
3. FIK Canteen
This faculty not only had one canteen, but they also had three! The name is Ananda canteen. Ananda canteen is scattered around the sports guest house or behind the Health and Sport center building, around the tennis indoor hall, and around the Faculty of Sports itself.
4. FIP canteen
The Faculty of Education (FIP) had two canteens. The first one is located beside the student’s organization building, the second is located in the student square building near the faculty dean building on the third floor. As what canteen should have, they also have food and beverages. The difference is that this canteen is facilitated by telephone and could deliver orders to the room around the faculty.
5. FIS canteen
The canteen is located in PKM building on the first floor, on the east side of the faculty, near the parking area. The canteen provides the student with food and beverages to fulfill students’ energy.
6. FMIPA canteen
These faculty have two canteens, one on the east side of the faculty while the other is on the west side of the laboratory. The first canteen is not so far away from the ormawa building, it is an indoor canteen that sells food and beverages.
7. FT canteen
There are three canteens in The Faculty of Engineering. There are culinary art canteen, civil engineering canteen, and electronics engineering canteen. The three canteens are not located far away from each other.
8. UNY Food Court
This is a public canteen located in front of the Digital Library building, on the west side of the Indonesia Educational Museum, and the east side of FMIPA. Literally in the middle of UNY. There are some gazebo, pendopo, and mushola. There are many more stores that sell food and beverages.
9. UNY Plaza’s Food Court
Located on the fourth floor of UNY Plaza, the food court has around twelve kinds of food. The visitors are not only from UNY students, there are also students from other universities eating here. (ts-vannya)
