"UNY has 6 research centers that focus on environmental sustainability, including: (1) Center for Eco-Material Engineering and Manufacturing; (2) Center of Excellence: Nanotechnology for Advanced Waste Management and Sustainable Environmental Optimization; (3) Center for Environmental Impact Assessment and Conservation for SDGs Achievement; (4) Center for Tropical Biodiversity Research and Development; (5) Green Technology & Artificial Intelligence; and (6) Center for Natural Products and Advanced Materials. These research centers accommodate research, innovation, and collaboration between lecturers, students, and industry in the development of eco-friendly materials, nanotechnology-based waste processing, nature conservation, biodiversity, and green technology.
