Novi Sunaini, the Youngest Graduate in August Period Graduation

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta held a graduation ceremony for the August period on Saturday (29/8) at the UNY Auditorium. In this graduation, Novi Sunaini managed to become the youngest student for the undergraduate level. The girl born in Kulur on 19 November 1999 earned her bachelor's degree at the age of 20 years and nine months. When asked why she graduated from college at such a young age, the son of Abdul Aziz and (late) Yulismi admitted that she entered elementary school at the age of 5 years.

The alumnus of SMKN 2 Koba received a scholarship while studying at the Public Administration Department at the Faculty of Social Sciences. When she finished her vocational education, she was ranked 2nd in the district. During college, Novi was also active as a laboratory assistant for public administration in the literature review section and served as chairman of the laboratory assistant. In addition, she has also been a member of the Student Representative Council (DPM) Faculty of Social Sciences.

When asked how she divided her time between studying and organization, she admitted that studying was still the main thing. Therefore, she used to study in the morning, and in the evening, she did assignments. "If there are things that are not clear, I ask friends or lecturers," she said.

Novi's achievements in college are pretty good, and she gets a cumulative grade point average of 3.74, so she is entitled to the title Cum Laude. (Dedy,ts-Shafia, Alina)
