UNY Sociology Education Study Program Support village development in Bantul

The Out-Campus Learning Activities Team of UNY's Sociology Education Study Program collaborated with Women Farmers Group (KWT) Sedyo Mulyo has carried out several activities in  Tulasan village, Bantul, on October 16, 2021. The team successfully organized mass gymnastics,  local product introduction, and demonstration of eco enzyme processing.  The targets for this activity are KWT members, PKK members, Posyandu cadres, Youth Organizations and children.

Due to covid-19, everyone has to follow the Covid-19 prevention protocol. After completing general checking, everyone was invited to have mass gymnastics led by the team and youth organization representative. This activity was chosen as a starter because it can gather the masses and is an excellent way to promote a healthy lifestyle to residents of Tulasan.

After completing gymnastics, the residents then took a break while enjoying and seeing the products made by the Village Building Team and KWT member Sedyo Mulyo. Some of the local products introduced include wet chrysanthemum drinks, several dry chrysanthemums drinks, and dish soap from lime. In addition, residents also saw firsthand the process of making eco enzymes. With the direct practice of making eco enzymes, residents in Padukuhan Tulasan who participate will know the steps for making eco enzymes and their use.(Tim Membangun Desa, Tj.Lak)
